Proofs are incorporated into price of reproduction. Essentially, it is a smaller reproduction of the final print, to be used as an evaluator for the final. It’s important to note that a reproduction doesn’t have to look like the original artwork, and for this reason, proofs may help to determine adjustments that can be made on the final print image. You may look at a proof and easily identify the accuracy or inaccuracy of the printed image. Conversations are key at Lightfarm and we encourage collaborative interaction in producing your work. Proofs also assist in indentifying the right subsrate for your work. Looking at paper samples are helpful up to a point, but there is no more accurate translation than the print itself.

Feel free to come in and print a proof if you are unsure about what your image may look like on paper.
