A: Lightfarm prefers RGB to CMYK files. We also prefer uncompressed file formats, such as .tiff, .png, .psd to compressed file formats like .jpg and .gif. Vector files are to be submitted in non proprietary formats such as SVG or EPS formats and the artwork is to be simplified to vectors without active effects fonts and linked source files. Lightfarm can assist in processing RAW files since this format is not print ready and requires flattening of all channels to a single print file. 16 Bit is advisable for a wider colour gamut and 8 Bit is advised for black and white files.
